Running time: 45 minutes
VOL 2.0 is an experimental and high-octane physical performance where two men rally with and against themselves and each other whilst exploring the edges of their relationships. A 45 minute exploration into how we all create, destroy, rebuild and simulate whilst desperately trying to grasp onto snippets of reality. It’s a performance about subjective experience and how through the simple action of doing, two guys can question your perception of human behaviour.
We do not seek to tell you a story, we seek to create moments in time. How many moments are in 45 minutes? And can you grasp them all? Moments that happen around us, the moments you missed by a second because you blinked. Moments that are made up by actions and reactions. The butterfly effect of our lives.
So what happens in a space with two guys, two nationalities, two languages, two sexualities and two histories? What happens when you give two people one instruction - to exploit their commitment to themselves. A partially improvised party with endless opportunities and possibilities.
